It boasts excellent shops and restaurants and the impressive castle with its 12th century ruins towers over the town and can be seen from the kitchen window of the property. You will find pretty villages, exhilarating coastline and spectacular scenery all close by, only 40 minutes from the beautiful city of York with the stunning York Minster and quaint cobble streets.
