The house oozes original charm and character with open beams and a welcoming feel and is ideal for a family holiday. There is a ground floor single bedroom, ideal for those who prefer not to climb the stairs.
Terrington enjoys a rural location, surrounded by rolling countryside which is ideal for keen walkers, cyclists and outdoor lovers. The village has a friendly pub, well stocked village shop and a post office as well as a Norman church and the busy tourist attraction of Yorkshire Lavender. Nearby is historic York where you can visit the York Minster and Shambles. The North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach as is the historic home of Castle Howard which makes for a great day out.
The cottage has a large sitting/dining room with original beams. The modern kitchen has all the equipment you'll need as well as a breakfast area is to the rear. On the ground floor there is a single bedroom next to the shower room which is particularly useful for those with limited mobility. Upstairs are the double and twin bedrooms plus family bathroom.
All duvet and linen is provided with beds made up for you on arrival. Bath and hand towels are provided along with tea towels and a table cloth. We can also provide cots if necessary and off road parking is available.
