Burdale Barn has been lovingly converted to offer luxury self catering accommodation for up to 5 guests. Located in the village of Fimber in the heart of the East Yorkshire Wolds, our barn enjoys a tranquil location and boasts stunning views. We have used environmentally friendly materials to renovate the barn as well as green technologies where possible. The barn is well equipped with everything you will need for a self catering holiday and makes the perfect getaway for couples, families and friends.

The barn enjoys a rural location and is surrounded by stunning countryside with walks from the doorstep. Explore the country lanes or walk the Wolds Way, there are routes for all abilities. The market towns of Malton and Driffield are close by which offer great restaurants and pubs. We are within easy reach of the beautiful Yorkshire Coast which boasts a number of picturesque seaside towns and villages. The historic city of York is nearby too which has number of great attractions and is a haven for shoppers!

Additional Information

The ground floor enjoys an open plan design with sitting, dining and a kitchen area. The modern handmade kitchen has an impressive Lancanche cooker, fridge/freezer, built in dishwasher, island unit with granite work top and Fired Earth Travatine marble flooring. There is a separate utility room and a downstairs shower room too. There is a dining area with table and chairs. An oak stair case takes you to the first floor which comprises a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, built in wardrobes, Juliet balcony and lovely views. The second bedroom has either twin beds or a double bed and we also have a single bedroom. The family bathroom has a Fired Earth Bain Bateau Bath and underfloor heating. The barn has a York stone terrace area and is perfect for a barbecue after a busy days exploring.

Specialities

We are particularly well suited for young families and provide a range of equipment including a high chair, stair gates, baby bath, toilet seat, potty, steam sterilizer and changing mat. We also provide a large box of Brio trains and tracks, story books and DVDs to keep the little ones entertained. We also offer a babysitting service. Guests will be welcomed with a hamper to get you started. We have ample car parking.
