Located just two miles off the A19 and within the pretty village of Alne. The Alders Caravan Park is set in historic parkland on a working farm in the Vale of York. The Alders is a secure, secluded and friendly family run site that offers visitors the opportunity to relax and unwind away from the stresses of modern life. Local Amenities include an Excellent local Pub - The Blue Bell within walking distance which serves Food, a Village shop, Well supported local church and a regular bus service to York.
The landscaped grounds, wild flower water meadow, farm animals and woodland walks all combine to offer the discerning and nature loving visitor an idyllic environment in which to stay. The Alders has been carefully developed to ensure privacy through internal landscape and imaginative design. Small bays, each named after Yorkshire Abbeys, provide privacy and space. The site is level and dry with electric hook ups and a modern enclosed waste disposal point. Each of the 40 pitches has 10 AMP hook up and some offer hard standing. The site has a well-appointed shower block and a washing facility that is centrally located within the landscaped trees. We are open from March to November.
On Site Facilities include 40 Pitches (including 25 hard standings).All pitches with 10 AMP, Well-appointed Shower Block with shaver points, hair dryer, and bath. Herb Garden, Gazebo, Telephone Cricket Ground, Kennel for hire (up to two dogs), Dog walking area & Storage Area.
Rallies can be accommodated by prior arrangement. The Alders has a membership of the village sports and fitness area Alne Parish Playing Fields that offers, 3 All weather and floodlit tennis courts, All weather Multi-use Games area, Skateboard Park, Enclosed children's Play area and a Nature and fitness trail. Other nearby leisure activities include Golf Courses (Easingwold, Aldwark), Local Riding and Fishing (Huby, Tollerton and Aldwark).
