Stable Cottage in Jervaulx is a spacious, well appointed self catering property close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park that has been created by converting a former stable building on our working farm. We have decorated and furnished the property to a very high standard and modern style. The cottage sleeps up to six and is suitable for a wide range of guests, from large families to couples sharing to groups of responsible adults. The cottage's farm setting means that there is plenty of outdoor space too with a garden for barbecues, numerous footpaths to walk through the farmland and opportunities for fly fishing on the River Ure that flows through the land nearby.

Whether you are staying for a weekend, a week or a longer-term stay our tastefully converted barn offers plenty do, both on-site and in the local and wider surrounding areas. The nearby towns of Bedale, Masham and Leyburn have good shops, friendly pubs & tea shops as well as regular farmers markets. Masham is home to the Blacksheep brewery which has an interesting tour with beer tasting. The area boasts great walking country with the Yorkshire Dales National Park offering beautiful scenic routes as well as being one of the major areas for caving in the UK.

With generous space inside and out, Stable Cottage in Jervaulx comprises of; an spacious open-plan lounge/ kitchen/ dining room with high ceilings and exposed beams, a huge l-shaped sofa, good home entertainment options and a large wall mounted electric fire. The dining area features a table that converts into a pool table, and is adjacent to the sleek open kitchen with glossy black units and appliances including an oven, grill and hob, full-height fridge freezer and laundry facilities. A fully tiled bathroom with bath and overhead rain shower serves the one double and two twin bedrooms.

Stable Cottage is well equipped for self catering and relaxation with a full Sky satellite TV package including sports and movies, and a broadband internet connection. The property features good outside space with outdoor seating ideal for taking in the view with a drink, home-cooked meal or BBQ. We have a lockable storage area for bikes and ample on-site parking. The dining table converts into a pool table and there is fly-fishing available in season, on the farm.
