Lindhead Close Cottage near Scarborough is a lovely holiday cottage in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park just a few minutes from the sea and a few miles from the aforementioned popular seaside resort. Adjoining our own home, our holiday cottage offers peaceful self catering accommodation for up to five guests in three bedrooms, and beautiful surroundings. The cottage is comfortable and homely with plenty of space inside and out thanks to a large shared garden and private garden area. We hope you will enjoy your stay with us, whether you are a family on a week long vacation or couples sharing.

Offering the best of two worlds, Lindhead Close Cottage is located just over two miles (as the crow flies) from the Yorkshire coast, in the south east corner of the North Yorks Moors National Park. As such it is a great place to stay if you love the outdoors, with excellent walks available on the doorstep both into the National Park itself and along the dramatic coastline with its cliffs, bays and sandy beaches. Scarborough town centre is just fifteen minutes drive away with its two beaches, pretty harbour and ruined 11th Century castle as well as great places to shop, eat and drink and indulge in a bit of culture at one of the town's theatres or galleries.

Whilst it adjoins our own property Lindhead Close Cottage near Scarborough offers peace and seclusion in the beautiful setting of the National Park. The property comprises an entrance hall leading to a generously sized lounge with comfy seating and a real fire, great views via a large window and home entertainment in the shape of a TV with Sky multiroom, DVD/VHS players, and a music system. Next comes the kitchen, well furnished with appliances, cutlery and utensils and a breakfast bar. There is a full bathroom with bath and 'shower over' that serves double, twin and single bedrooms.

We welcome guests with two amiable, house-trained pet dogs and offer ample garden space for them (and the kids) to run around and play in. There is a private area of the garden reserved for guests, with outdoor furniture and outstanding views. There is a landline telephone at the cottage which guests are able to use as well as the WIFI internet connection. We can supply a number of additional comforts such as a high-chair for guests with babies/toddlers, or electric blankets and logs for the real fire in the lounge for when the weather grows cooler. We have free parking onsite.
