Our cottage is ideal for couples on a romantic break or alternatively can be suitable for two friends sharing.

Approximately a hundred yards from Monkgate Bar, one of the medieval gates along the three mile circuit of the city walls, Biggan Mews is well placed for exploring the fascinating city of York. Whether you want to experience the rich heritage of this popular tourist destination or prefer to sample the modern delights that the city offers you will find something to do in York. There is an abundance of shopping here, with trendy boutiques and souvenir shops sitting alongside modern department stores and fashion houses. The choice of places to eat and drink is vast with restaurants of all varieties along with traditional tea rooms, modern coffee shops and numerous bars and pubs. Sports fans can enjoy horse-racing at the racecourse, play golf at one of around six courses within a six mile radius of the city, or enjoy live football and rugby league.
