Lavendar Cottage in Bewholme, near Hornsea is a lovely holiday cottage sleeping four people close to the Yorkshire coast. Our pretty self catering property is perfect for families including two well-behaved dogs, and there is plenty of space inside and out to ensure all of our guests can enjoy peace and relaxation during their stay. The cottage also provide a spacious venue for a romantic break with a superb multi-fuel stove to cuddle up in front of in the lounge. We have furnished the cottage to a high standard for comfort and a home from home atmosphere and look to welcoming you to our lovable cottage soon.

Bewholme is a small village on the Yorkshire Coast approximately two and a half miles from the sea and around a 10 minute drive from the seaside town of Hornsea. Hornsea is to the south east and offers a wide choice of attractions and amenities. It is a great place for a day out thanks to its long stretch of Blue Flag award-winning beach and recently renovated promenade with souvenir shops, gardens and places to grab a snack or ice cream. Hornsea also boasts a small town centre with a surprising amount of bars, cafes, restaurants and takeaways, whilst the designer outlet village in the south of the town offers around 30 shops and a children's play centre. Almost as large as the town itself are Hornsea Mere, a large natural lake and bird sanctuary that is great for sailing, fishing and walking, and Hornsea Golf Club, a lovely picturesque parkland golf course.

Our delightful cottage has been fully refurbished in recent years and is a light and airy property that consists of; a sitting room decorated in calming neutral tones to compliment the fantastic multi-fuel stove, and is furnished with a mix of rustic items and a comfortable leather sofa, and a modern flat-screen TV, DVD player and CD/Radio. Adjacent is a dining room with 4-seat table, which leads to the galley-style kitchen with contemporary units and a good range of appliances including a dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. The kitchen offers access to the garden via patio doors. The bathroom is the final room on the ground floor and features a sink, lavatory and a roll-top bath with shower attachment. On the first floor is the sleeping accommodation; a twin bedroom with two 2'6" single beds and the master double.

The middle cottage in a row of five in a quiet cul de sac, Lavendar Cottage in Bewholme benefits from a small enclosed cottage garden with seating area and a pond (Young children should be supervised). Parking is available at the roadside only. For guests travelling with babies and toddlers we can supply a stairgate and highchair.
