Danesway Cottage in Hunmanby Gap is a peaceful self-catering holiday bungalow on the Yorkshire coast near Filey. Our pretty single storey property comfortably accommodates as many as five people in a prime location half a mile (8 minutes walk) from the golden sands of Filey Bay. Suitable for families or couples sharing, our cottage has been tastefully decorated and furnished to offer a homely place for a short or long holiday.

Hunmanby Gap, so called because of the 'gap' in the cliffs that allow people to reach the beach below, is part of the large village of Hunmanby, around three miles from Filey. Hunmanby is a delightful village that has an extensive history and was at one time the main market town for the East Riding of Yorkshire. Today it is one of the largest villages in the country and as a result has a good amount of amenities including several places to eat and drink, and to stock up on supplies. Nearby Filey is a popular tourist resort thanks largely to its large beach which is a great place to sunbathe, build sandcastles, rockpool and partake in other typical beach activities.
