Our recently renovated cottage sleeps a maximum of four people making it great for families or two couples sharing. We also welcome one four-legged guest at the cottage with ample dog-friendly walks in the area. Located by Broomhead and More Hall reservoirs within a mile of Deepcar and Stockbridge, our small working farm is surrounded by beautiful countryside with a wealth of great places to walk and cycle nearby. Numerous footpaths lead into the neighbouring Peak District National park and the central section of the Trans Pennine Trail cycle path passes nearby. The 'Steel City' of Sheffield is within a short drive of twenty minutes or so offering our guests access to a wealth of shopping, dining and entertainment /leisure facilities including the Meadowhall shopping centre, Sheffield Ski Village and the National Ice Centre at iceSheffield.
The Cart Shed comprises a well-equipped kitchen and dining room with intimate four-seat table and contemporary kitchen facilities including a Rayburn oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is a comfortable sitting room with a three-seat leather sofa and a flat-screen Freeview television with DVD player. A full bathroom with a corner bath and separate shower cubicle serves double and twin bedrooms.
As well as comfortable interior space, The Cart Shed in Deepcar features an enclosed garden complete with outdoor furniture on a patio area. There is a paved driveway that leads directly to the front door. As suggested above, we welcome one well behaved, house-trained dog but request that they be kept 'on-lead' when outside of the cottage due to its location adjacent to our working farm.
