The cottage is in the centre of the village with some excellent pubs, cafes and shops close by for supplies if you're eating in or a range of options for eating out. The beach is just a short walk from the front door as well. Take a trip to Whitby and you can discover the history of the harbour including Captain Cook's legacy, or enjoy a steam train journey to Pickering with plenty of places to visit and enjoy. If you enjoy walking and cycling then the North York Moors provides fantastic scenery to explore. There's something for everyone in easy reach when you stay in our cottage, so book now.

Additional Information

The cottage has a sitting room on the ground floor with a gas fire and TV with DVD player. Open stairs to the lower ground floor kitchen, with dining table, oven, hob, fridge and microwave. A narrow spiral staircase leads to the double bedroom and bathroom with a bath including shower attachment on the first floor. The second floor has a twin bedroom, accessible by very steep stairs that may not be suitable for children.

Specialities

A travel cot, high chair and stairgate can be provided for families with young children. There is a secure store available. Three-night weekends and four-night midweek stays can be arranged. All bed linen is provided. The cottage is unsuitable for the infirm and the nearest car park is 500 yards away up a steep bank.
