Our comfortably furnished accommodation is housed within a traditional townhouse overlooking the small green of Bridlington Priory. The property sleeps a total of nine guests in three bedrooms and is suitable for larger groups of families, couples and considerate adults. The seaside resort and minor sea fishing port of Bridlington is a popular tourist destination on the North Sea coast. The town welcomes large numbers of visitors throughout the year but particularly in summer when people flock to the resort to take advantage of the two sandy beaches, one at either end of the town separated by the harbour. Both beaches are impeccably clean and are great places for bathing, sandcastle building and walking the dog. The beaches are backed by promenades with cafes, souvenir/beach shops toilets and beach huts. Bridlington town centre offers more places to eat and drink or shop and there are entertainment venues and seasonal attractions too.
Accommodation at The Tall House is spread across four floors with the ground floor housing a charming dining room with six-seat table, a CD/Radio, and a real open fire. Adjacent is the kitchen, a colourful room with black and white tiled floor and integrated and stand-alone appliances including laundry facilities, a microwave, oven and hob. Just off the kitchen is a pretty conservatory which itself leads to the patio garden. On the first floor is the sitting room, with its comfortable leather sofas, small library of books and Freeview TV with DVD player attached. Next to the lounge is a full bathroom with bath and shower facilities. Onto the second floor and there are double and twin bedrooms. On the third floor is the final bedroom; a second twin bedroom featuring a sofa bed for an additional two people.
As a family-friendly property we are happy to provide a travel cot, high-chair and stair-gate for those with infants as well as a cot bed for a child aged up to 5. We also welcome guests with pets and happily accommodate up to two well behaved dogs. The patio garden at The Tall House features outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The property is kept warm year-round by a gas central heating system and the dining-room fire. Heating (and electricity) bills are covered by the rental fee as is a supply of coal for the fire.
