Attached to our own farmhouse, Ashberry Cottage in Rievaulx is a wonderfully peaceful holiday property set just inside the North York Moors National Park, great for a calm and relaxing break. We've combined the rustic, traditional features such as the beamed ceilings and wood burning stove with contemporary furnishings such as leather sofas and the well-equipped kitchen to give you a luxurious yet still homely experience.

We are situated in a quiet location within three miles of amenities at Helmsley including shops and restaurants, although there is a pub serving food only one mile from our cottage. The North York Moors have some fantastic scenic walks while there are plenty of country houses to explore in the region including Nunnington Hall. Take a trip to Pickering and hop on the steam railway up the coast, or if you fancy travelling slightly further York is accessible for a day trip with fantastic museums, shopping and places to eat out. Staying with us means you have the best of a tranquil location, with a wide range of activities and sights nearby.
