Heather Cottage in Flamborough is a lovely three-bedroomed former fisherman’s cottage on the Yorkshire coast near Bridlington. Our lovingly renovated cottage has been well-furnished with high quality fixtures and fittings and equipped with all the modern comforts of home to ensure a peaceful, relaxing stay. We offer a warm welcome to all guests including children and pets, and are close to attractions and amenities suitable for both including nearby Bridlington's Quality Coast award winning beaches.
The village of Flamborough sits roughly four miles from the seaside resort of Bridlington on the North Sea coast. The village sits atop the promontory chalk headland of Flamborough Head and is notable for its working lighthouse which visitors can tour. There are a number of shops and pubs in the village serving residents, day visitors and the many holidaymakers staying at nearby holiday camps. Bridlington offers a wider and more abundant range of amenities as well as two award-winning beaches, both backed by promenades with shops, cafes and beach huts. Bridlington has many family friendly attractions including an great model village and an excellent leisure facility with indoor leisure and swimming pools with slides, wave machines and more, along with a fitness centre and health suite.
Heather Cottage consists of a lobby/entrance room leading to a cosy sitting room with beamed ceiling and an open fire, sumptuous soft-fabric sofas and a flatscreen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. On next to the open-plan kitchen/dining room with simple contemporary feel, integrated appliances and a six-seat dining table. The kitchen offers access to a patio area with seating. On the first floor is an en-suite double bedroom with shower room, and a twin bedroom with separate bathroom. Moving upwards to the second floor and there is a large, bright and airy sloped ceiling single bedroom with an additional single bed if required.
Here at Heather Cottage we welcome a total of 2 small well-behaved, amiable dogs. Warm and welcoming year round, the cottage benefits from full gas central heating which is included in the rental along with electricity and an initial supply of fuel for the fire. Additional logs can be provided at cost price. Roadside parking is available within 20 yards of the cottage.
