We might be biased, but we don't think holiday cottages get much better than Bank Top Cottage in Cropton. It's our spacious, luxurious holiday home for three, and it's packed full of great features for an unforgettable family stay. At Bank Top Cottage, we'll welcome two adults with space for an additional child of any age. Parking facilities are available, and you'll enjoy easy access to the best Yorkshire attractions. Summer stays can be spent relaxing in the garden, where you'll find patio furnishings, whilst we've equipped the cottage with great entertainment facilities, and with a wood-burning stove ideal for winter breaks. We'll provide an initial supply of fuel at no extra cost, and you'll have plenty of space to relax and unwind in any season.

You don't need to spend time in the kitchen if you don't want to - they serve great British meals at very affordable prices. Our own home can be found just moments from Bank Top, and we're always happy to offer advice about local attractions and things to do. As a starting point, you'll probably want to visit the Flamingo Land attraction or Castle Howard, and we'd recommend drives to the Whitby or Scarborough coast, or walks through Cropton Forest for a great family day out. Shops are within easy reach of the cottage, and historic York can be reached for a day trip.

Bank Top Cottage is a spacious holiday home with plenty of room to relax. Aside from a wood-burning stove, the lounge features a digital TV with cinema surround sound, a DVD player and a sound system. You'll find dining facilities for all guests, leading to the patio through French doors, and the kitchen contains state-of-the-art appliances including a microwave, a fridge, a freezer and a dishwasher. Though they're not provided in your cottage, we can also offer free use of a washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage features one double bedroom with a very spacious, luxury en-suite bathroom (featuring a large shower cubicle and a bath) and a sumptuously soft king-size bed, and there's an additional cloakroom WC. We can accommodate one child with an additional z-bed, or provide a travel cot for a baby or toddler.
