An elegant country lodge offering self-catering accommodation of the highest standard, Ellerburn Lodge in York is our offering to you for short breaks and lengthy stays. When we furnished Ellerburn, we did so with your comfort and convenience in mind. Set just outside York, it's the perfect peaceful retreat with a pretty enclosed garden, a BBQ for private use, and access to a private indoor swimming pool that we're sure your whole family will love. Our lodge sleeps eight, and it's perfect for a larger family. It's got off-road parking, including sheltered spaces, and it comes equipped with everything you could possibly need for an unforgettable Yorkshire break.

If you choose to book a stay at Ellerburn Lodge, you'll be able to arrange it online. Otherwise, you can call us for a great deal. The cottage is the perfect base for visits to the North York Moors National Park, and it's within easy reach of historic York with shops and traditional pubs. We'd recommend a boat trip or a visit to the Railway Museum, and past guests have also enjoyed great days out at the Eden Camp Museum and the Flamingo Land theme park. We're within driving distance of the coast, with Scarborough accessible for day trips, and we're perfectly situated for visits to Robin Hood's Bay.

Two standard twin bedrooms, a standard double bedroom and an en-suite double bedroom with shower facilities cater to eight guests visiting Ellerburn Lodge. A washing machine, dishwasher and microwave are amongst the appliances you'll find in the kitchen, and there's a family dining room for social breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. You can relax in the conservatory, enjoying pretty garden views, or spend time in the living room with the TV and DVD player. Guests have access to two family bathrooms - one with separate shower and bath facilities, and one with an over-bath shower. We like to make sure there won't be fights for the bathroom in the morning!
