Book OnlineCheck price, availability & special offersOur surprisingly spacious self-catering holiday home, Heathcliffe Cottage in Runswick Bay, can sleep up to nine people in comfort. It's a coastal retreat on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, and it's furnished with a style that perfectly combines the contemporary and the antique, coming complete with a stone fireplace housing an open fire for which we're happy to provide free fuel.
Heathcliffe Cottage can be found just a few steps from the coast, where you'll find golden sands, beautiful rock pools and charming beachside cafes. Our cottage has its own enclosed garden, complete with patio furnishings, and it's just a short stroll from clifftop pubs and inns. Parking facilities are available, so feel free to bring your car, though we'd also recommend walks along the Cleveland Way to Whitby, eight miles from your door, or to Staithes just two miles from the cottage. For kids, we're close to Flamingo Land, whilst you'll find chain and independent shops within a one mile radius. At Heathcliffe Cottage, you'll find two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a single bedroom with an additional pull-out bed. The cottage sleeps up to eight adults, and we can provide an additional z-bed for a child. Guests have access to two cloakroom WCs, to a shower room and to a family bathroom with both shower and bath facilities. The property features a large living area with dining facilities, a multi-fuel stove, a TV, a DVD player and a CD player. The kitchen, with direct garden access through a patio door, and contains a microwave, fridge, freezer, range cooker and laundry facilities, alongside other necessary appliances.
Heathcliffe Cottage is a perfect holiday home for families. It's spacious, it features a large enclosed garden, and it's got a z-bed for an older child. For our youngest guests, we can also provide a travel cot and a highchair. We ask that you call to book these before you arrive, but don't worry, there's no additional charge!
