Situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and surrounded by flowers and rolling countryside, the cottage is beautifully maintained and offers accommodation for 2 guests, ideal for a couple. Warm, comfortable and peaceful, the cottage is ideal for a romantic break or holiday.
Terrington is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday whether you are keen walkers, cyclists or simply looking to relax and unwind. There is a fine Norman church, while charming stone built cottages line the wide main street.Castle Howard - featured in the film ‘Brideshead Revisited’ - is only 3 miles away whilst the historic city of York just 14 miles, and pretty Hovingham only a few minutes’ drive. Be sure to visit the North Yorkshire Moors National Park or maybe visit the east of the area with its quaint fishing villages, spectacular cliffs and coastal scenery, beautiful beaches and the lively seaside resorts of Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington as well as the famous seaside town of Whitby.
Silverstones is a single storey cottage converted from old stabling, tucked away in a quiet corner close to the centre of the village. It is a spacious open plan unit with a double bed in a full room sized, curtained recess. The bathroom has a shower only. Night storage heating is available when needed. The sheltered courtyard edged with flower borders has a picnic table for you to enjoy the afternoon sun.
The electricity for the cottage is supplied by a meter reading. Duvets and bed linen are provided, with beds made up for your arrival. Bath and hand towels are provided along with tea towels and a table cloth. Cots are available at no extra cost but no bedding is supplied. Off road parking is available for the cottage.
