Visit Websitefor more informationSelected as one of the Best Bed & Breakfasts in the UK to be featured in the Guardian Accommodation Directory, Burnley House is a superb Grade II listed guest house offering a friendly welcome, comfortable rooms and a homely atmosphere. The house overlooks the Hutton Beck as it winds through our peaceful garden and we are ideally located in the picturesque village of Hutton-le-Hole with its many outdoor activities, local pub and tennis courts.
Originally a Georgian Farmhouse built in 1787, Burnley House has retained many traditional features including flagstone floors, a 20" deep fireplace and a magnificent sweeping stair case. Breakfast is served in our dining room at a time to suit you and we offer a choice of traditional hearty Yorkshire breakfast with poached boiled or scrambled eggs, and a vegetarian option. The breakfast buffet is set with yogurts, home made muesli, cereals, fruit, a fresh fruit salad and home-made preserves and Yorkshire Honey.

The guest house offers two spacious double bedrooms with large bathrooms overlooking the Hutton beck; two en suite twin rooms, one situated on the ground floor offering wheelchair access; and a private four-poster bedroom with en suite on the first floor of the annex adjoining Burnley house. All rooms have TV, hair dryer, central heating and a tea and coffee tray.
We try to use local produce with free range eggs from our own farm. We can cater for children but please discuss your needs with us prior to your visit. We have a cot, baby listening service and a high chair. For the comfort of our guests, Burnley House is a non smoking establishment.
