The cottages are situated in Rosedale, near Pickering, within the boundaries of the North York Moors National Park, where visitors will find dramatic scenery and an abundance of wildlife and foliage. Our cottages cater for all from couples looking to spend quality time together to a large family of 8 people. All of our cottages near Pickering are fully equipped with everything you'll need to enjoy a self catering holiday with us. The North York Moors offer an abundance of activities and attractions. There are numerous golf courses within easy reach of the cottages and nearby bustling market town Pickering has a swimming pool and tennis courts. Flamingo Land Zoo and Pleasure Park are close by as is the North Yorkshire Moors Railway which runs through the heart of the National Park to Whitby on the coast. Markets are dotted around in local towns and villages and the seaside resorts of Scarborough and Whitby are within easy reach. The area has played host to a number of film and television series of late, including Harry Potter and Heartbeat. Walkers are well catered for in Rosedale which offers endless pathways ranging from easy strolls to more challenging routes. Further afield is the historic city of York with its stunning Gothic Minster, specialist shopping on The Shambles and wide choice of museums, galleries and boat trips.
