Situated on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and only a short drive to York or the coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby, the lodges (or cabins) provide an oasis of tranquility for a wonderfully relaxing family holiday. Children have lots of activities and mountain bikes can be hired.
Golden Oak 2 and Silver Birch 2 are two storey lodges which both sleep 4 people. With floor to ceiling windows the beauty of the surrounding forest is brought into right into the open plan living areas with wood burning stoves and a well equipped kitchen and dining area. They have a twin bedroom and shower room on the ground floor and a double room with ensuite shower on the first floor. Both lodges have flatscreen TV's/DVD's and large furnished verandahs and hot tubs. We supply logs at cost price and provide the first batch free.
Facilities on site include a shop, launderette, play area, mountain bike hire, and organised activities. There are several days out you can arrange such as a journey on the steam train to Whitby or a trip to the market town of Pickering.
