Welcome to Keld Head Farm Holiday Cottages. Bordering rich meadows, our nine highly individual holiday cottages provide excellent self-catering accommodation and are a perfect base for those seeking a countryside setting, whilst being only a short walk to the centre of the traditional market town of Pickering. Pickering's attractions include the famous North York Moors Steam Railway, a historic 12th century castle, Victorian Museum and indoor swimming pool as well as superb shops, market, pubs and restaurants. Why not take a day trip to Heartbeat and Harry Potter country or Yorkshire's heritage coastline with its fantastic sandy beaches, towering cliffs, bird reserves and quaint fishing villages? The historic city of York is also close by, get lost in its cobbled streets, or visit York Minster and the world famous Shambles. We are the perfect location from which to explore all the area has to offer.

Our traditional stone self-catering holiday cottages are set around a peaceful courtyard and fountain with adjoining gardens. They are spacious and retain much of their original rustic character with open beamed ceilings, traditional stone fireplaces and pan tile roofs so typical of the area. Superbly equipped kitchens mean our cottages are a home away from home and they are tastefully decorated to ensure your comfort and relaxation. Our cottages sleep from 2 to 8 (+cot) so cater for most needs. We have both single and double story cottages, all with fitted kitchens, bathrooms, sitting rooms and parking. We have a large enclosed garden with garden furniture and there is a children's playground on site. We have a Garden House with deck area and barbecue, suitable for informal dining for up to 14 people and available for group parties etc. Facilities include a welcome tea tray, colour TV/video/DVD player with video library, dab Radio/CD player, laundry and drying facilities, indoor and outdoor games, daily newspapers, milk deliveries and bike hire.
