Here at Byre Cottage in High Hawsker near Whitby, we're proud to offer homely accommodation within easy reach of the coast. Our cottage stands on Swan Farm, where we've been accommodating visitors for over 70 years. Many people return year after year, though we're always happy to welcome new visitors. Our cottage is the perfect base for holidays by the coast, and it stands in a beautiful location in the North York Moors National Park.

Byre Cottage is a new barn conversion, offering clean and comfortable holiday accommodation for up to two people plus a baby. It has a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a fully-equipped kitchen with lounge diner. There's a patio area for sitting and dining outside, and we include heating and bed linen with no hidden costs. Our cottage stands in the heart of the village, just 100 yards from the local pub. There are regular buses to Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood's Bay, and cycle hire is available in the village. Excellent cycle paths and walking trails adjoin the far, with the nearest beach just 2.5 miles from your door. Attractions in nearby Whitby include the Dracula Experience, Whitby Abbey and the Captain Cook Museum, or you can enjoy a boat trip or a train ride on the North York Moors Railway.
