Located just 3 miles north of York, Bluebell and Daffodil cottages in Stockton on the Forest are peacefully situated to the rear of our 300 year old farmhouse. Boasting stunning beamed ceilings and extensive living space, the two cottages offer an idyllic and peaceful rural location within easy reach of York's many heritage attractions, shops and museums. The cottages are just a short drive off the A1M and conveniently close to the North York Moors, spa town Harrogate and spectacular stately home estate Castle Howard. Both our one bedroom cottages are immaculately presented throughout and are perfect for couples and romantic breaks near York.

Pretty Bluebell and Daffodil Cottages both sleep two guests comfortably and feature wireless internet access throughout. Equipped to the highest standards, the cottages have central heating, beautiful beamed ceilings and all modern facilities from colour televisions with Freeview and comfy sofa seating to fully fitted kitchens with stylish oak units, fridges, combi ovens and microwaves. Daffodil cottage has charming open plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and lounge. The bedroom is a stylish double and the bathroom has a bath, with adjacent shower. Cosy Bluebell cottage has a twin bedroom and shower room, with ground floor living space featuring a fully fitted kitchen with a microwave and a washing machine.

Pets are warmly welcomed in our period cottages by arrangement and a host of spectacular walks are in the surrounding area. The Yorkshire Wolds, Dales, Moors and Coast are all within easy driving distance and the cottages are just a stone's throw from Wetherby and York Racecourses. A premier golf course is under a mile from the cottages which are perfect for both business and leisure guests. Families are most welcome, with both cots and highchairs available. A resident's payphone is also provided for guest use and all bedlinen, tea towels and towels are fully inclusive.
