Property Information

Beautifully furnished and superbly equipped throughout, The Old Stable is a fantastic choice for self catering holidays in Port Mulgrave. The property sleeps up to 5 people, enjoying a great location within easy reach of Whitby and the various other attractions along the North Yorkshire coast. The accommodation consists of a double and a twin bedroom, both spacious and well presented. An additional single stowaway bed is also available - suitable for an additional person. WiFi is also available at the old stables.

The large kitchen and dining area is well equipped for stress free self catering, with appliances including a gas cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetiere. A full sized fridge freezer and dishwasher are also provided - but if you tire of the kitchen, there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants within easy reach. The lounge area is cosy and comfortable, with entertainment options including a flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player and CD/radio. Private car parking is available in the courtyard. Bed linen is provided. The accommodation has gas central heating throughout. Please note that there is a strict non smoking policy for this property.

Additional Information

The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring the North Yorkshire Coast. The pretty seaside villages of Runswick Bay and Straithes are both approximately a mile away, and for walkers the Cleveland Way Coastal Footpath and a network of inland paths are located just a stone's throw away. Nearby Whitby offers numerous opportunities for exploring, fishing, sailing, surfing, rock climbing, fossil hunting and spending time on the beautiful Blue Flag beaches. There are also plenty of attractions including the spectacular Whitby Abbey, the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, the Dracula Experience, Whitby Museum, Pannet Park, Whitby Wizard Science Centre and many more. There are also various places to shop, eat and drink. In Saltburn there is the Victorian Pier, bandstand and Italian Gardens as well as a surf centre where you can hire equipment and have tuition.

Specialities

Children and pets are welcome, and Palmer's is open all year round with short breaks available. There is a strict non-smoking policy in all of the buildings at Rosedale Cottages. The cottages can be hired individually or together - enquire for further details.
