Book a stay at The Old Post Office Cottage in Carlton and enjoy easy access to Leyburn, and to top family attractions including Bolton and Middleham Castles, the Thorp Perrow Arboretum and a selection of independent art galleries. Our cottage stands close to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park surrounded by beautiful springs and rivers, and it's ideal for a family with children, within easy reach of the Lightwater Valley Theme Park.
Our cottage includes a spacious living room with an interior stone wall, into which is set a beautiful, cosy open fire. We've included a TV and DVD player for entertainment, and an elegant separate dining room includes a large antique dining table. The fitted kitchen includes a variety of appliances such as a fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and there are additional dining facilities for four. Eight guests in total are accommodated in one en-suite king-sized room, one double bedroom and two twin rooms, all of which share a main bathroom with both shower and bath facilities. The cottage also features a beautiful garden with outdoor furniture.

Our cottage has a Saturday changeover and includes private off-road parking facilities. We provide bike storage space, and we can include a highchair and cot if you're travelling with a baby or toddler. A food-serving pub is just down the road from the cottage, and there are a variety of independent shops nearby.
