Heatbeat Country around Goathland together with Whitby's wide choice of attractions from the cliff top Whitby Abbey to the Captain Cook Museum and a wealth of shops, inns and cafes are all within easy reach. Premier local salmon fishing sits close to the cottage door and the property is ideally placed for touring, within easy driving distance of York, Runswick Bay and fisherman's village Robin Hood's Bay.

Accommodating five guests, Byre Cottage has three spacious bedrooms including a double bedroom with an attractive dressing room recess area, a single bedroom and a twin bedroom. Wheelchair access is facilitated via a ramp to the front door, making the cottage an ideal choice for less mobile guests. The family bathroom has both a bath and shower over plus a wc and a washbasin. Bathroom aides for the bath and wc are both provided. Living areas include a light and airy entrance porch, a sitting room with a tv, DVD and ample comfy sofa seating and a dining and kitchen area fully fitted and inclusive of an electric oven with gas hob, a fridge freezer and a microwave.
