Less than an hour from Harrogate and the A1(M), The Old Joiner's Shop offers Middlesmoor accommodation just a ten-minute drive from the picturesque Yorkshire Dales providing challenges for beginners and experienced walkers alike. It's a great base for a walking holiday in any season, but it's also a perfect property for a family coming complete with everything required for up to six people. Our cottage is close to Lightwater Valley and the dramatic Brimham Rocks, and is within fifteen miles of How Stean Gorge and the impressive Fountains Abbey.

Our cottage features an en-suite bedroom and two twin bedrooms, all homely and individually furnished and all with TVs. It has a fully fitted kitchen including a dishwasher, fridge freezer and washer/dryer, and it features a dining area and a beamed lounge including satellite TV, a DVD player and a CD HiFi system. One main house bathroom is shared between all guests. The cottage has a multi-fuel stove for winter evenings, a bright conservatory with panoramic views that are great in any season and a gravelled patio with outdoor seating and pretty valley views.

The cottage is available all year for holidays, and can also be booked for short breaks in winter. Discounts are available for a couple booking the entire property to themselves and we're able to accept one well-behaved pet free of charge. An additional pet may be welcomed for a small fee.
