Spacious Poppy Cottage near Epworth village, birthplace of John Wesley, is a superb holiday base for groups, situated within 6 acres with an on-site private fishing lake and woodland walks from the door. The cottage is just a 15 minute drive from Robin Hood's Airport and we offer both airport transfer and long-stay parking. Enjoy an idyllic rural holiday on the Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire border. Poppy cottage is pet friendly and perfect for touring, within easy driving distance of Lincoln, Louth and the Wolds, Newark and Sherwood Forest and pretty market town Gainsborough.
Four bedroom Poppy cottage sleeps 8 guests, with upstairs bedrooms including a king-size double, a standard double, a twin and a double bunk bedroom. The bathroom is fully fitted with a bath and electric shower over. Downstairs you'll find extensive living space including a large lounge with teletext tv and digital Freeview channels, a CD, DVD, ample seating and both wireless internet access and heating fully inclusive. An extra wc and shower are also downstairs together with a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, electric oven with hob and a fridge with freezer box.

Changeover day is usually Friday, however we can be flexible dependent on availability. The cottage is available for nightly, short/ weekend breaks and weekly or long-stay bookings and one pet is welcome, but must not be left unattended in the property. A welcome pack is available for guests on arrival and a shared laundry room with washer, dryer and freezer is on-site for use during your stay. A payphone, wifi, a shared gas barbecue, acres of beautiful communal grounds and the private fishing lake (small extra fee) are all inclusive.
