About this property
Laneside Farm Bed & Breakfast is ideal for a relaxing holiday or short break to the Yorkshire countryside being just five miles from Huddersfield and a short drive from the Peak District. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery of 'Last of the Summer Wine' country, the farm offers three ensuite guest rooms set in a converted barn and there is also a sitting room for our guests to relax in and take in the rural views. A delicious breakfast made from locally sourced produce is served daily which includes eggs from our resident free-range hens and meat from our local butcher.
The Helme is a double bedroom with lovely old exposed beams and floor level arched window. This room offers an ensuite shower room, tea/ coffee making facilities, plenty of storage and wifi service. The Hayloft is also a double bedroom with ensuite shower room and window offering country views. The Harvest is our ground floor room which can be presented as either a double or twin as required. This room offers an ensuite shower room and extra wide external door for wheelchairs.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at the farm and there are scenic walks right from the door step for them for them to enjoy. Please note though that your dog must not be left unattended in your guest room; if you wish to take a day trip without your dog, a sitting/ walking service is available by prior arrangement.
Special to this property
There are plenty of onsite animals at the farm including our White Park rare-breed cattle plus pigs, piglets and hens. If you visit in Spring, we often have a couple of orphaned lambs which we raise to help out local farmers.
