Visit historic Whitby Abbey, take a ride on the steam train to Pickering, visit Bram Stoker's Dracula Experience or enjoy a lazy day on the beach. Our cottage is a family retreat near shops, pubs and restaurants and it's an ideal base for Whitby Folk Week visits and for Whitby Goth Weekend.

Our cottage sleeps four in two double bedrooms, with an additional one or two guests accommodated on a double futon in a third small bedroom. The property includes a homely lounge with recliner seats, Freesat TV, DVD and VHS facilities and in the kitchen we've included all essentials and added a dishwasher to save you time. A large shower room features a double shower cubicle, heated towel rail and shaver socket, and towels are available to hire for a small charge.

We're happy to offer a £30 discount to guests bringing their own linen. For families with a young child we'll be able to provide use of a cot, a high-chair and a play pen, and for all we provide free use of cabled broadband and wireless internet connection. We also offer a small private parking space for one vehicle, by arrangement. This allows you to leave your car for the duration of your stay on our own driveway, where it will be closed in by our own vehicle. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept pets. The cottage is smoke-free, though we provide an ash tray if you'd like to smoke outside.
