About this property
This cosy Grade II listed cottage is situated in a small ginnell off Pier Road near the renowned Magpie Cafe and the pier. The cottage is in a busy and popular part of Whitby close to all amenities. It offers charming and characterful accommodation with lovely views from the upper floors. Dating from the 18th century, the cottage is reputed to have formed part of the Neptune Inn and was later a fisherman's store.
The accommodation is set over four floors. Entrance, small hallway. Kitchen with dining table. Also off the hallway is a spacious shower room with electric shower, toilet and washbasin. Wide wooden stairs lead to the first floor where there is a cosy lounge with original exposed beams, electric flame-effect stove in feature stone fireplace. On the second floor is a bedroom with twin beds, hanging space. Excellent views across the harbour. On the third floor is a bedroom with a double bed and hanging space. Windows on three sides give wonderful views of the Abbey.

Refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric cooker with oven/grill, microwave. Colour TV with, video, freeview and DVD, radio. Modern electric heaters throughout the cottage. Bed linen is provided. Non-smokers only! Two well behaved dogs welcome. Parking on the West Cliff or in council car park (weekly tickets availalbe from Tourist Information Centre).
