Beautiful countryside views surround the property which is ideally situated for walking and touring the Yorkshire Dales to the west and the ancient city of York and spectacular Castle Howard to the South. Enchanting heritage spa town Harrogate is also within easy reach.

No.1 Mowbray Cottage is an immaculately converted historic building and boasts outstanding disabled facilities throughout and accommodates four guests comfortably. Living space is all ground floor and the two stylish bedrooms are a double and a twin bedroom. The spacious bathroom is a contemporary shower room fully fitted for use by disabled visitors. The property has ramp access, grab rails and wide accessible doorways. Open plan in style, the kitchen and dining area features all essential appliances including an electric oven with hob, a fridge and a microwave. The sitting room has a colour TV and a warm and welcoming homely decor. No.2 Mowbray Cottage is more suited to a couple as has one double bedroom with en-suite shower room. There is a comfortable sitting room with stunning views and a kitchen fully fitted with all you need for an enjoyable holiday.

South Kilvington has a superb dining pub within walking distance, and the golf course is 1 mile away. There is a good swimming pool, gym, and sauna in Thirsk, and we can happily arrange pony trekking nearby. Whilst the cottage is within easy walking distance of Thirsk and South Kilvington, a car is definitely an advantage as public transport is limited. Ample off road parking is available on-site.
