Then without a doubt our three bedroom cottages, Ferry Cottage, Pinfold Cottage and Ings Cottage near York are the perfect choice. Situated in an enviable position alongside the River Ouse, in the beautiful village of Acaster Malbis, our traditional cottages are just 3 miles from the city of York. Perfect for families and couples, the cottages all feature character Inglenook fireplaces, multi-fuel stoves and ample on-site parking. Luxuriously presented and with family facilities available, the cottages are an ideal rural holiday base for touring North Yorkshire and York.
Our luxury three bedroom cottages are stunning conversions of original farm buildings with oak beams, multi-fuel stoves (gas) and timber floors in living rooms. Three cottages all sleeping six guests plus a cot are available and all are well equipped with modern facilities including flatscreen TVs, DVD and CD player. Living space is open plan in style and immaculately presented in a traditional style featuring antique French doors with pretty shutters. Kitchens are fully fitted with slate floors and full amenities including a dishwasher, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. Utensils are included. Bedrooms are cosy with plenty of wardrobe space. Duvets, all bed linen, an iron and ironing board and gas/ electric are fully inclusive in booking price.
All our three bedroom cottages have south facing gardens with delightful stone flagged terraces, well equipped with garden furniture and brick built barbecues. The cottages are set in stunning countryside yet access to York city could not be easier. Whether you drive, take the local bus or even the riverbus which picks up 150 metres from our entrance. York city has an abundance of attractions including walking tours, ghost walks, the Jorvik Viking Centre, the York Dungeon and the National Railway Museum. Whatever your interests you are assured a break full of things to do.
We provide outdoor furniture and barbecue facilities and if you need to do some washing there are laundry facilities/ coin operated machines on-site. Storage for bicycles is also available and handy particularly if you're bringing children. Families and couples are welcome in our spacious three bedroom cottages, with travel cots and high chairs both available on request.
