On the occasion that you fancy a meal out, there is a friendly and good quality Inn that serves delicious meals close by. Just a short walk from the cottages will bring you to the National Trust Nunnington Hall on the banks of the River Rye. Other places of interest include Castle Howard, Helmsley and Duncombe Park, Pickering, the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, Whitby, Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay & York.
The cottages comprise of a ground floor with a lounge equipped with a wood burning stove and fuel, a colour television with Freeview, DVD player, radio and CD player. There is also a dining room/kitchen with Aga, dishwasher, fridge freezer, baby belling cooker and microwave. Additionally there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, sun room and separate toilet and basin. On the first floor there is a double room with 6ft bed and a second double room that can also be a twin room. There is a family bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, W/C and basin. The cottages also benefit from Internet connection.
There is an unfenced pond in the garden, therefore young children must be supervised at all times. These cottages are strictly non-smoking.
