You'll love the pool, its indoors and we keep it at over 29C all year round.
York is well worth the visit and is one of the worlds most visited cities. It boasts a host of activities and attractions which makes it a really popular destination. York Minster is a true spectacle and its architecture is amazing. Travel to the top of the Minster and gaze out at the rooftops of York. The Jorvik Viking Centre and York Dungeon are also well worth the visit and will keep all entertained. Whatever the time of year, we are sure you will enjoy a great holiday at Sparrow Hall Cottages, whilst visiting many attractions.
There are 5 wonderful cottages on offer. The Jacks holiday cottage, Orchard holiday cottage, Stables holiday cottage, Dairy holiday cottage and the Granary holiday cottage. All cottages have the highest standard of modern facilities, and they all keep their traditional features. They can sleep from 3-6 guests and the bedrooms are individually stylish, and offer nothing but comfort. The bathrooms have an over bath shower and shaver point, whilst some benefit from an extra bathroom or en suite facilities. The living rooms all have different features such as rustic fireplaces and French windows, and they come well equipped with TV and free-view, video recorder and cd and DVD player. The kitchens are equipped with fitted units, halogen hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker and cooker. Each cottage comes with a hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, steam iron and ironing board.
Superb indoor heated swimming pool. Traditional cottage features such as beamed ceilings, pine woodwork and open log fires. The Jacks holiday cottage is a firm favourite with honeymooners as it is the most secluded. The Stables holiday cottage is suitable for the partially disabled.
