Our newly refurbished establishment is located in the Yorkshire Dales and combines Georgian architecture, chic decor and 5* service to create an unparalled experience for our guests. On top of this, Grassington House Hotel is home to 5 The Square, a full-service restaurant and bar. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and features cuisine by award-winning chef, John Rudden. Choose from a range of mouth watering main courses, including line-caught seabass, griddled thirsk rare breed cured pork with pinapple and clove studded goosnargh duck breast with pickled cabbage duck chousant and honey jus. Take a seat at our Welsh slate bar and enjoy a light bite or starter, main course or dessert from the restaurant menu. It offers premium spirits and has a full wine list as well as offering a range of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The bar is in a superb location for mingling and entertainment for travellers and locals alike.

Having recently undergone extensive renovation, the hotel’s rooms feature world-class décor, including Italian lighting and fabrics, designer furnishings, modern fixtures and fittings and remarkable views of Grassington’s lovely town square. We have 6 en suite and individually designed rooms. Each room has a flat screen TV with freeview and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is served for guests in the hotel's conservatory and room service is available. Please note that we only accept dinner, bed and breakfast on Saturday's. Grassington House Hotel is a 3-storey Georgian style residence and is noted as one of the area’s most notable historic buildings. It was originally constructed for Mr. Brown, a promoter of the Grassington-Pateley Bridge Turnpike Trust, and later inhabited by the Alcocks, a distinguished banking family. Grassington House was converted into a hotel in the early 1900s, and the beautiful course squared, brown-grey limestone structure has remained a prominent attraction in Yorkshire Dales ever since.
