In a breathtakingly beautiful location, Shallowdale House is our Ampleforth B&B on the edge of the North York Moors. We offer elegant accommodation that's earned an Enjoy England Gold Award, and have beautifully furnished rooms that look out over miles of countryside to offer exceptional views in any weather. We serve award-winning breakfasts and evening meals, with local produce used wherever possible. Our dinners are accompanied by a carefully selected wine list, and consist of four courses served from 7.30pm.

Two acres of hilly, floral gardens surround Shallowdale House, looked over by our spacious bedrooms which have been furnished with great care and attention. We have two king-sized bedrooms that can also be configured as twin rooms and have en-suite bathrooms, and also have a double room with a private bathroom. Warm, welcoming and atmospheric sitting rooms include open fires, and between 4pm and 5pm we serve complimentary homemade goodies and hot drinks. Bedrooms are equipped with your own tea and coffee-making facilities, and we also provide a flat-screen TV and radio in each.
