The farm is a large 18th century, grade two listed farmhouse, Easterside Farm nestles on Easterside hill and enjoys panoramic views of the dale. It's perfectly located for either long or short breaks. Easterside Farm is rated Four stars by the English Tourist Board. Hawnby is a short drive away from the market towns of Helmsley and Thirsk, the latter being the town where the real James Herriot worked.
Ideally placed for all local attractions such as Rievaulx Abbey, Castle Howard, York, The White Horse at Sutton Bank Eden Camp Second World War Museum, North Yorkshire Moors National Park including Goathland which was the location for TV's 'Heartbeat'.
