Located in the picturesque ancient fishing town of Whitby, North Yorkshire and once part of a coaching inn, Tate cottage was built in the 1800's and retains many original features. The cottage has been recently refurbished offering all modern amenities, yet still has an inglenook housing a log burner, open fires, original windows and wood panelling,etc. Tucked away in a quiet backwater near the working harbour and marina on the historic east side of the "Old Town" Tate cottage offers a peaceful retreat whilst being close to art and craft galleries, real ale pubs and award winning restaurants the railways station and the old steam rail journey into the North Yorkshire Moors along the esk valley line.The tastefully decorated cottage sleeps 4 and is a no-smoking and pet free zone for your pleasure.
