Palmer's is a large property sleeping up to 12 people in complete comfort. The cottage has 3 double bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and a children's room with bunkbeds and a single bed, and is set in half an acre. There is also a sofa bed and single guest bed available, making this superb self catering accommodation ideal for large family holidays or group get-togethers. The accommodation has a washer/dryer, private and secure garden with BBQ and garden furniture and plenty of private parking. We also have an upstairs cloakroom with WC and full size sink.
The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring the North Yorkshire Coast. The pretty seaside villages of Runswick Bay and Straithes are both approximately a mile away, and for walkers the Cleveland Way Coastal Footpath and a network of inland paths are located just a stone's throw away. Nearby Whitby offers numerous opportunities for exploring, fishing, sailing, surfing, rock climbing, fossil hunting and spending time on the beautiful Blue Flag beaches. There are also plenty of attractions including the spectacular Whitby Abbey, the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, the Dracula Experience, Whitby Museum, Pannet Park, Whitby Wizard Science Centre and many more. There are also various places to shop, eat and drink. In Saltburn there is the Victorian Pier, bandstand and Italian Gardens as well as a surf centre where you can hire equipment and have tuition.
Children and pets are welcome, and Palmer's is open all year round with short breaks available. There is a strict non-smoking policy in all of the buildings at Rosedale Cottages. The cottages can be hired individually or together - enquire for further details.
