Our cosy B&B comprises of 8 comfortable en suite rooms all individually furnished and include TV, DVD/cd player, radio, clock and a tea and coffee tray. Breakfast is produced from local produce served in our bright and cheerful dining room. Whenever possible and without impinging on customer care we operate is a 'green' way. We have private parking to the rear of the Carlton Lodge and we do welcome cyclists and walkers for whom we have special awards and pets (which are precluded for the public rooms) if their visit is pre-arranged.
We have two ground floor bedrooms and six on the first floor. By purchasing a number of zip link divans we can alter our room configuration to suit most guests requirements and checking on our real time room availability can be done by selecting the link on our home page. Wi-fi is available throughout the Carlton Lodge including most bedrooms and our TV's play DVD's and cd's as well as allowing you to view any video footage you may have taken on you days out.
At the Carlton Lodge we like to help with your holiday plans. Whether it’s a route for a walk or a suggestion for Dinner we have the ability to be able to help if you need. Advice on chocolates, flowers and pampering for the ladies whilst a suggestion where to buy decent pint for the gentlemen are readily available and we can even advise you how to get dinner at our local Michelin Starred Restaurant at short notice. A little local knowledge can be invaluable, please do ask for advice if you wish
