Visit Websitefor more informationWelcome to West View Cottage Bed and Breakfast located in the beautiful village of Pockley just outside the small market town of Helmsley, on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Dating back to the 17th century, our traditional Yorkshire long house is a listed building featuring in the 'Houses of the North Yorkshire Moors'. Our guest bedroom is in the attached converted barn and has it own private entrance. The breakfast room, where we serve a deliciuous choice of breakfasts, is located in the thatched part of the cottage. Guests can also enjoy the south facing garden and summerhouse and private parking is on-site.
We are ideal for a relaxing break in the countryside and a great base from which to explore the area. There is so much to see and do in the North York Moors with its many historic houses and beautiful gardens, castles, abbeys and museums. Spend a day in Helmsley or visit historic York where you will find boutique shopping, fantastic restaurants, cafés and art galleries. Slightly further afield are the seaside towns of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey. Enjoy a walk around the harbour or a stroll on the beach.
Our bedroom is south facing and has its own private entrance which provides guests the benefit of flexibility to come and go as they please. The double ensuite bedroom comes with tea and coffee making facilities, TV and DVD player including a selection of films, digital radio, silent fridge and mood lighting. Internally we are a no-smoking establishment.
The south facing garden and summer house are for your enjoyment and use, there is also private parking for your car.
