Nearby is the quiet town of Holmfirth made famous by Nora, Compo and Cleggie in Last Of The Summer Wine. Follow in their footsteps down the cobbled streets, and enjoy a cup of tea in Sid's Cafe or visit one of the many local craft shops.
Oldfield Cottage is a grade two listed building with exposed beams and mullioned weaver's windows and has been renovated to retain it's two hundred year old charm. You'll be spoilt for choice with country walks starting on your doorstep, and the local pub is only a short stroll away. The hamlet also offers a small playground and stunning Pennine views associated with the local artist Ashley Jackson. We have a Four Star VisitEngland rating.
