Quality B&B In a Historic 17th Century Country House On a Working Hill Farm In Picturesque Coverdale

Braithwaite Hall is a working hill farm situated in the lower reaches of Coverdale which borders the more famous Wensleydale. The farm has a large flock of Swaledale sheep and a beef cattle herd. Re-modelled in 1667, the Hall boasts a splendid oak panelled drawing room with a large open fireplace where guests can watch TV or just sit and relax and take in the ambience. Braithwaite Hall is ideally situated for walking or exploring the famous Yorkshire Dales, with footpaths going through and around the farm. We also cater for those preferring to see the dales from horseback by providing stabling at the Hall. There is also a bridleway running through the farm.

Bed and Breakfast Accommodation at Braithwaite Hall comprises: 2 double rooms with en-suite facilities, one of which is an oak panelled room. 1 twin bedded room with private bathroom. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer, bathrobes. Family room available on request. Large oak panelled drawing room. DIY livery for horses on B&B (price on request). Full English breakfast is served every morning using only locally sourced sausages and bacon, eggs are free range and bread is home made. Breakfast also includes cereal, fruit and yoghurts, special diets catered for on request.
