Around 1980 the 2 Victorian town houses were joined together and The Wyndham Hotel was created. In 1997 (under fresh ownership) the word 'Admiral' was added to 'Wyndham' to provide the hotel with a nautical name to go with the beautiful interior decor. It is actually themed on the world wide passage of a sailing ship with each of the 12 bedrooms themed on a different country. There are some stunning murals painted by a local artist and they must be seen to be truly appreciated.

Food is freshly cooked and well presented, and small functions can be catered for including barbecues during summer. The small bar/lounge near the entrance has excellent decor, as does the entrance hall, and it is obvious the Management takes great pride in the appearance of the hotel. Visitors will also find a relaxing garden to the rear where a cool drink or two can be taken during warmer months.
