Situated in the central location of Masham, Forge Cottage is a stone built cottage which has been lovingly and sensitively restored to provide excellent accommodation. It retains many of its original features including the exposed oak beams. The owners are conveniently situated at the local news agents .They will be available to meet and greet you on arrival and happy to assist you with a wealth of local information. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen complete with washer/dryer, microwave, cooker and fridge freezer. The lounge provides the perfect place to relax following a day spent exploring the surrounding countryside or shopping in the centres of Leeds or York. There is a colour TV, DVD and video for your enjoyment.

The small market town of Masham is situated ideally at the foot of Wensleydale, it boasts 2 breweries, and 4 local inns, and a selection of restaurants to suit every palate. The Spa town of Harrogate is close by, where you can a full day enjoying the charms that the Victorian town has to offer. Littered with high class shopping and dining opportunities and beautiful floral gardens. The historic city of York and commercial centre of Leeds are also very accessible with the A1 dual carriage way running north to south close by. For the more active, fishing on the river Ure and Leighton reservoir is close by. Masham has a beautiful parkland, 9 hole golf course and other sporting amenities within easy walking distance. For those who prefer walking there are a range of options from leisurely walks along the river to more challenging hikes in the dales.

The cottage has one large double bedroom with a super king size zip link bed which can provide both twin or double accommodation options.We have a cot and high chair for couples with an infant/baby. There is also full en suite facilities. The heating system is fully remote controlled.
