This spacious and airy ground floor apartment is situated within Carr View Hall which is a Georgian Grade II listed building. Newly refurbished, the apartment boasts high ceilings and original wooden window shutters, with far reaching views over the Esk Valley. The village of Sleights is 4 miles from the centre of Whitby and on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. There is a butcher, a baker, Spar store, a Post Office, a fish and chip shop and a couple of other restaurants in the village of Sleights. There is also a railway station, with trains to Whitby and Middlesborough.
Carr View is an ideal base to explore all that North Yorkshire has to offer, including James Herriot country in and around Thirsk and Goathland where the TV series 'Heartbeat' was filmed. Whitby was also the inspiration for Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and home to the famous explorer, James Cook. Weekly bookings start on a Friday.
The apartment has a large master bedroom with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, as well as a spacious twin bedroom, open plan living area and a family bathroom with corner bath. There is off-street parking adjacent to the building. Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms plus travel cot.
