Located in an area designated for its outstanding beauty in the Hambleton foothills, better known as Herriot/Heartbeat countryside. Awarded 3 star accommodation providing romantic four poster bedrooms in country style. In the morning enjoy a full English farmhouse breakfast. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. When in season there is nothing tastier than Grandad’s tomatoes for which he has won many prizes. Porridge with honey, pancakes, croissants whatever takes your fancy.
Carr House Farm has been a family run farm for 5 generations and is home to many different species of birds. Carr House has the good fortune to be situated at the geographical hub of the riches that North Yorkshire can offer to the visitor. Half an hours pleasant drive takes you to the ancient city of York and its myriad attractions. Walk the moors, tour the coastline, visit famous abbeys and castles, or join in the many local sporting facilities. If you enjoy the deep pleasures of walking, eating and sightseeing this is the place to stay. Dramatically lovely with a special beauty all of its own and supremely peaceful.
Carr House Farm provide 4 poster bedrooms all in country style. All rooms are en suite with colour televisions, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers etc. An array of crockery and cutlery are at your disposal if you wish to make snacks etc. We have now opened our sun room to guests to have use of a larder fridge and microwave and picnic basket. Outside there is a flagged dining area with barbecue to satisfy the most hungry.
