We're one mile from Ampleforth and are just five minutes from the Black Swan in Oldstead, recently awarded a Michelin star. Within easy reach is Ampleforth, Bylands, Stanbrook and the spectacular Rievaulx Abbey. We're on the edge of the North York Moors, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Our elegant bedrooms are traditionally furnished and spacious. Carr House Farm is the home of our Cuckavalda Gundogs. They don't come inside, but they're always happy to provide a friendly welcome and to claim a few free hugs. If you want, you're welcome to take one for a walk or to sit and spend some time with them on site. We don't accept guest dogs within the B&B, though can help to arrange their very own B&B experience nearby.
